Traditions and Explorations in Collage
An Intimate Collage Workshop in Paris!
Wednesday, May 21
1:30 - 4:30 pm
Join me for a special afternoon in Paris, delving into the rich tapestry of collage art. Inspired by Fragmentary Forms: A New History of Collage, this workshop offers a reflective exploration of how this versatile medium helps us navigate and interpret our complex world.
Building upon the success of a previous Paris workshop with two wonderful participants—who are returning for this session—I'm excited to welcome two additional art enthusiasts to our creative circle. While reading the book isn't required, you'll need to bring your own materials; a supply list will be provided upon registration.
Together, we'll examine the works of pioneering collage artists, drawing inspiration from Paris's rich artistic heritage. Through guided exercises, you'll have the opportunity to create your own collages, developing a personal visual language that resonates with contemporary themes. By the end of our session, you'll have several collages and fresh perspectives to invigorate your art practice.
Whether you're a seasoned artist or new to collage, this workshop promises an inspiring and supportive environment to explore and create.
